Northview Church has revitalized the once vacant medical office building at Binford Boulevard and 65th Street in Indianapolis into a mixed use facility. The building is home to office and conferencing space for Northview Church Central Services staff as well as a worship auditorium, Capstone Cafe’s second location, and an expanded Northview Kids space that doubles as a daycare during the week with the Learning Care Group.

The worship auditorium, entry lobby, and conference room were added onto the existing building. The division between indoors and outdoors is blurred by wrapping exterior materials inside. The brick, Indiana limestone, and wood look metal siding bring warmth and texture to the space. The new addition boasts tall ceiling heights that leave a lasting impression when you first walk in. The info center provides a sense of familiarity to other campuses but has updated finishes that reflect this campus. Capstone Cafe’s second location has a refreshed design with the same great coffee. The wood wrapping around the counter and on the wall connect to the exterior materials and bring a taste of the outdoors in. Different flooring textures, wall features and accent colors bring out the diverse community at the Binford Campus. There are several areas to sit down and have a meeting including lounge chairs, a community table, window bar seating and a private conference room. The Central Services staff as well as the public can frequently be found hanging out or working all throughout the space. The versatility for small gatherings, large groups, one on one conversations, and community worship makes this a truly multi-functional building.
